Season 2022-23

The Season

Client needs for the 2022-23 season included print collateral, website updates, and digital advertising. Entitled Welcome, the brief indicated the design needed to express open, encompassing hospitality and capture the spirit of the season's programming while staying within the established brand guidelines, including the brand fonts and colours.

Process

Research involved illustrating and developing the meanings of "welcome" and representing this concept within the scope of the supplied copy and pre-existing brand guidelines. Listening to the music of the concert programming was essential to visually express the overall feeling of the music knowledgeably.

A 3-panel foldout brochure is completed for the concept pitch to the client, as it is always the first item needed for season commencement. As there are many pieces to the season collateral, once the season concept is approved, we begin to work down the collateral list based on established due dates.

Collateral

The final collateral included a 32-page colour program that requires design and layout, an 8-page black and white program insert for five concerts, an 11 x 17 season poster, digital banners for five concerts, and website updates.
